“It is truly an honor to have been one of the students selected for this year’s ABC O&P Scholarship. I am grateful to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for supporting me and allowing me to pursue the profession I am so passionate about. O&P Student
“I am very grateful to be the recipient of one of the O&P Foundation’s ABC scholarships! The saying “where there’s a will, there’s a way”, is true for my journey to pursue O&P. I’ve made many sacrifices to pursue this degree. I strive to excel at what I do for myself, but more importantly, for my future patients. Taking loans and working while in school is no exception. Receiving this scholarship has provided a financial relief that will allow me to consider different options for residency and career paths moving forward. This freedom to think a little less about “the way” while I pursue “the will” is such a gift. Thank you!
