Shane Wurdeman PhD, CP, FAAOP(D)

Vice President of Scientific Affairs within Hanger’s Department of Clinical and Scientific Affairs. He entered the field of P&O as a technician before transitioning to working as a prosthetist/orthotist and finally into his role as a principal investigator. Dr. Wurdeman has co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 4 book chapters, and presented more than 100 conference abstracts within the field of orthotic and prosthetic rehabilitation. He lives in Austin with his wife and 2 kids.
