The tree represents of growth and strength.

• • •  The two segments at the base merging at an inflection point is symbolic of The O&P Foundation’s history whereby the two original foundations created a shift in the trajectory of O&P to begin facilitating growth in the profession through The O&P Foundation.

    • The curve of the trunk evokes thoughts of a scoliotic curve commonly treated with orthotic care, while the base resembles a split keel carbon fiber foot, a common element in prosthetic care. 

    • The shape of the tree gives creates an ‘O’ and a ‘P’.

    •  22 leaves symbolize the year of the official merger in 2022

    • Leaves going in different directions, representing the exploration of new ideas
