Dr. Kamrun Nahar (Mst Kamrunnahar) is the Chief Executive Officer and Co‑founder of Xmorphe. With more than two decades of experience in Chemical, Materials, and Neural Engineering, she has led cutting‑edge research projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institute of Health (NIH).

Since 2017, Dr. Nahar has conducted R&D on Prosthetics and Orthotics at Xmorphe, involving the development of next‑generation mobility technologies. She is a co‑inventor on several patented prosthetic innovations issued to and applied by Xmorphe. Under her leadership, the company’s self‑adaptive prosthetic ankle and prosthetic foot system have advanced from research concepts to fully commercialized products.

Dr. Nahar has served as PI on Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects sponsored by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) at the U.S. Department of War (DoW). These initiatives included clinical studies with lower‑limb amputees, conducted in collaboration with prosthetic clinics.
