Nicole Walker MS, CPO

Nicole Walker is a Grants Management Specialist and Research Prosthetist Orthotist at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. She is also a PhD Candidate in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. In her role as a Grants Management Specialist, Nicole promotes the mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve Veteran’s health and well-being by assisting in the administration of VA-funded awards. Her research focuses on the development and implementation of technologies aimed at serving women with amputations, with emphasis on the influence of novel devices on body image and participation. Nicole is excited to have the opportunity to support The O&P Foundation grants programs and further the mission of The O&P Foundation.
