We are pleased to announce that Andrew Young has joined The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research as our new Director of Strategic Advancement.
Andrew brings more than 20 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations expand their reach and impact through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and partnerships. Over the course of his career, he has helped raise millions of dollars in support of public-interest and nonprofit work, and is widely recognized for building strong teams and cultivating meaningful, long-term relationships with donors and partners.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Wake Forest University School of Law, Andrew brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to advancement that aligns fundraising, communications, and partnerships in support of sustainable growth and mission impact.
In his role, Andrew will lead The O&P Foundation’s advancement strategy –– including fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, corporate and philanthropic partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives — helping to expand The O&P Foundation’s reach and strengthen support for education, research, and development across the orthotics, prosthetics, and pedorthics professions.
Andrew began this week and is already getting immersed in the work ahead. He will be joining us in Nashville for the upcoming American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium, where he will connect with partners, supporters, and members of the OP&P community.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys sports, cooking for friends and family, and spending time with his three children. He is excited to join The O&P Foundation and to support the continued growth and impact of the organization.
Please join us in welcoming Andrew to The O&P Foundation!
